Room at the Inn

Room at the Inn is a 24-hour emergency shelter for homeless families and single women sponsored by the Sisters of Divine Providence.  Those served daily at the day site in Bridgeton go out every night to two hosting Church congregations. We provide a welcoming environment where clients and hosts share Friday dinner and Saturday breakfast, fellowship, and a safe place to sleep.  We pick them up at Providence Center, off of McKelvey, on the fourth Friday of each month and return them on Saturday morning. We have about 20 parishioners that help transport our guests, give them food, fellowship and a place to sleep.
