All Saints Academy at St. Ferdinand is fully committed to our students' spiritual development.
Students are taught about their Catholic faith in religion class and by attending mass twice a week. All grade levels help plan and participate in special liturgy Masses held throughout the year. Students can participate in Mass through singing, reading, presenting the gifts, and planning. Our fifth through eighth graders are invited to become servers during mass. We have found that students grow through these opportunities to be a part of their church life.
In the Sacrament of Reconciliation, we seek God’s mercy for offenses committed against him. First Reconciliation is received in the second grade in January. The students attend a retreat prior to making their First Reconciliation.
Our student body has the opportunity to receive this sacrament twice through the school year, during Advent and Lent.
Children receive the Holy Eucharist for the first time in second grade during Easter Season.
The students attend a retreat day prior to receiving the sacrament. The students along with their parents attend a Banner Making Day that they create a banner that is hung at their First Holy Communion Mass.
2024 Confirmation Class
Our Eighth-grade students receive their Confirmation during the spring of each year. Besides learning about Confirmation during their daily Religion Classes they also meet for classes with the PSR students in the evenings. These are energized classes that build community as well as prepare them for Confirmation. The students participate in a group Service Project and attend a Confirmation Rally with the North County Federation of Catholic Schools.
