The Eucharist is the physical manifestation of Jesus in the world. On the night of the Last Supper, Jesus instituted the sacrament of the Eucharist with his disciples to perpetuate the sacrifice of the Cross throughout the ages and to entrust to the Church a memorial of His death and resurrection.
St. Ferdinand is blessed to have ample access to the Eucharist. The Mass is celebrated twice a day on weekdays and several times for Sunday. (Please see the Mass Times for specific Mass schedules.). In addition to daily Mass, St. Ferdinand has a perpetual adoration chapel where anyone can sit and visit with the Real Presence of our Lord. (Please see the Adoration Times for more details.)
Students in our Day School and PSR program make their First Communion in the second grade. They need to be enrolled in either school for a year prior to reception of the Sacrament.
Older students and adults who have not received their Sacraments are invited to attend our Rite of Christian Initiation (R.C.I.A.) process. It is held every Thursday evening at 7:00 PM. from September until after Easter.
Please call the Parish Office for more details.
