We are a Preschool through eighth-grade Catholic Elementary School in the Archdiocese of Saint Louis. Our school philosophy statement flows from the educational documents issued by the Church. We pride ourselves on being rooted in our Catholic faith and in our striving to foster in our students a love and connectedness to the Church which Jesus began.
Saint Rose Philippine Duchesne originally established our school in the 1780s as a free school for boys and girls. Since then, we have enjoyed a rich tradition of fostering Gospel values while focusing on the pursuit of educational excellence. In our recent history, we merged with the school community at Saint Martin de Porres and this experience has enriched us greatly. In 2018 we became All Saints Academy at St Ferdinand Parish. All Saints Academy is a new educational entity formed by the Archdiocese of St Louis Office of Catholic Education and Formation in partnership with St. Ferdinand, St. Norbert, and St. Rose Philippine Duchesne Parishes. Each existing parish school became a campus of All Saints Academy on July 1, 2018.
Enrollment in our school is currently 200 students, from preschool through eighth grade. Our average class size is about 18 students with a maximum class size of 25 students. We have a staff of ten full-time homeroom teachers. We also have five specialty teachers who teach music, computer, art, Spanish, and physical education. We utilize Google Classroom with our students and we have 1:1 Chrome Books for our students. Our school is partnered with the North County Federation Technology Library where we have access to a variety of robots, Glowforge Laser Cutter, Vinyl Cutter, and a 3-D printer to enhance our Technology Program. We are blessed to have the services of two resource teachers who see to minister to children with special needs. We also have a full-time nurse on campus. We have 2 part-time counselors and a part-time speech and language teacher.
